The form stores what you type: your artist name, your name, your email address, the label if any, the track and its links, anything you add in the notes, and your confirmation that you control the recording, together with the IP address that confirmation came from. We use it to listen to the track, to write back to you and, if we take it on, to make the video and credit you. The rights confirmation is kept with a timestamp, because it is our defence if a claim is ever made.
If you allow it, Google Analytics sets cookies and tells us how the site is used: which pages, roughly where from, on what device. We never see your name or your browsing anywhere else. If you decline, the tag is never loaded and nothing at all is sent to Google. You can change your mind at the bottom of this page.
The site is closed while we finish building it. Passing the gate sets a cookie that records nothing but that fact.
The site and its database run on Railway, inside the EU. Submissions are never sold, and are shared with nobody except where the law requires it.
Submissions we turn down are deleted within a year. Submissions we publish we keep while the video is up, because the rights confirmation has to outlast it.
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to the address in the footer and we will answer within a month. You can also complain to your national data-protection authority — in France, the CNIL.
